OGWA Studios at the Forefront of Africa’s Creative Economy at TABS 2026

In a time when Africa’s creative industry is rapidly redefining global narratives, OGWA Studios is positioning itself at the forefront of the continent’s evolving creative economy through its flagship masterclass, The Audacity To Be Seen (TABS) 2026.

Scheduled to hold on August 21, 2026, in Lagos, Nigeria, the one-day intensive masterclass is expected to convene 65 creatives, founders, students, and early-career professionals for an immersive experience centered on personal branding, storytelling, identity, and visibility.

Bridging Africa’s Visibility Gap

Across Africa’s expanding creative and entrepreneurial landscape, talent is abundant but visibility remains uneven. Many professionals struggle not with skill, but with clarity of identity and intentional communication.

TABS 2026 was designed to address this gap.

According to OGWA Studios, visibility is not about noise but intentional storytelling. The masterclass equips participants with practical tools to articulate their value, own their narratives, and represent themselves confidently in competitive spaces.

From Maiden Edition to Movement

The inaugural edition of The Audacity To Be Seen was hosted in 2025 supported by Creative Economy Practive CcHUB in Lagos. The event brought together a diverse mix of creatives and professionals for a hands-on storytelling and branding experience.

Participants reported clearer personal brand direction, improved confidence in public visibility, and practical frameworks they could immediately apply. More notably, the event sparked collaborations and ongoing conversations beyond the physical gathering.

Building on that foundation, TABS 2026 aims to scale both reach and impact.

Scaling Impact in 2026

Building on the success of its inaugural edition, the 2026 masterclass introduces a more structured curriculum, deeper hands-on learning experiences, stronger partner integration, and expanded access through sponsorship support, ensuring that more emerging founders, creatives, and young professionals can participate regardless of financial barriers. With a target of empowering 65 participants, the initiative reflects a growing commitment to nurturing Africa’s next generation of innovators and changemakers while contributing to the continent’s expanding creative economy—an industry increasingly recognized as a catalyst for job creation, cultural influence, entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic growth.

A Studio Rooted in Representation

OGWA Studios describes itself as a purpose-driven creative studio operating at the intersection of storytelling, identity, culture, and representation. Guided by its motto, “Authentic stories, boldly told,” the studio extends its storytelling philosophy beyond screens into education and community-building initiatives.

TABS 2026 reflects this ethos, emphasizing that stories do not only belong in films or media productions but also in the personal and professional identities individuals carry into the world.

Facilitators Driving the Conversation

TABS 2026 will feature an accomplished lineup of facilitators whose work spans storytelling, media, leadership, wealth creation, journalism, and product innovation. Confirmed speakers include Prosper Light,Storyteller and Founder of OGWA Studios; Connor, Venture Architect, Amb. Nimi Adegbite, Founder and CEO of Cirvee, Eefomaa Elentiya, Media Catalyst and Presenter; Oluwaseun Ambassador, Family Office Architect and Wealth Strategist; Sam Adedoyin, Journalist, Influencer, and Community Leader; Akinyemi Akinola, Creative Director and Tolu Adibe, Product and Project Leader.

Together with other distinguished speakers to be announced, they will lead thought-provoking conversations, practical workshops, and interactive sessions designed to equip participants with the clarity, confidence, and tools to build impactful careers, scalable businesses, and enduring personal brands.

Partnering to Build Africa’s Creative Future

TABS 2026 is already backed by a growing network of organisations committed to advancing Africa’s creative economy. The event is proudly supported by Creativerse by Fidelity, with Crest Africa,  Laerryblue Media, and Empire Magazine Africa serving as its Official Media and Community Partners.

Building on this momentum, OGWA Studios is inviting forward-thinking brands, institutions, and ecosystem enablers to join the movement through financial sponsorships and strategic resource partnerships. Investment opportunities range from Supporting Partner to Lead Partner, offering structured brand visibility and meaningful engagement before, during, and after the event.

Beyond sponsorship, TABS represents a shared investment in the future of African creativity—bringing together organisations that believe the continent’s next generation of founders, storytellers, creatives, and cultural leaders deserve the visibility, knowledge, and community needed to build globally relevant work.

Shaping the Next Generation

TABS 2026 brings together founders, creatives, professionals, and emerging leaders committed to building brands, businesses, and ideas that create lasting impact. It serves as a meeting point for those shaping the future of Africa’s creative and entrepreneurial landscape through bold thinking, meaningful connections, and practical insights.

As conversations around identity, representation, innovation, and digital presence continue to shape global discourse, initiatives like The Audacity To Be Seen demonstrate how African creative institutions are not merely participating in the creative economy—they are actively designing its future.

If the maiden edition laid the foundation, TABS 2026 represents the next chapter: a growing movement built on visibility, courage, collaboration, and the audacity to be seen.
