Flutterwave Expands Fully Licensed Payment Services to Boost Business Growth in Cameroon

Flutterwave, a leading financial technology company in Africa, has extended its operations to Cameroon, offering a suite of officially licensed digital payment services. The company’s services in the country are now fully authorised by the Central Bank for Central African States (BEAC), allowing it to provide secure and compliant payment infrastructure for businesses across the region.

With this expansion, Flutterwave aims to support Cameroonian enterprises, particularly small and medium-sized businesses by enabling seamless local and cross-border transactions. 

The digital payments suite includes tools for collections, payouts, card issuing, and e-commerce integration, designed to streamline financial operations for a wide range of industries.

This move aligns with Flutterwave’s broader strategy of building a connected African payments ecosystem, facilitating business growth through licensed, scalable financial technology.

By operating under BEAC’s regulatory framework, the company reinforces its commitment to transparency, regulatory compliance, and sustainable digital financial inclusion in the Central African region.

The launch of licensed services in Cameroon follows Flutterwave’s similar market entries in countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, and Zambia, positioning the company as a key enabler of digital commerce across the continent.
