Digital PayExpo 2026 to Advance Africa’s Vision for a Seamless Digital Economy

Digital PayExpo 2026, one of Africa’s leading platforms for payments and financial services dialogue, will take place from 17 to 18 June 2026 at the Landmark Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. The annual gathering is expected to bring together policymakers, regulators, financial institutions, fintech innovators, investors, and technology providers to explore the future of digital finance across the continent.

Held under the theme “Seamless Digital: Fostering Pan-African Market Expansion in the AI Era,” the conference will examine how artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, and cross border payment systems can accelerate Africa’s economic integration. The event comes at a pivotal moment as African economies continue to experience significant growth in digital transactions, mobile money adoption, embedded finance solutions, and AI powered financial services.

The programme will feature discussions on key issues shaping the future of finance, including financial inclusion, cross border interoperability, digital identity, cybersecurity, open banking, embedded finance, and AI driven payment innovation. Industry leaders will explore strategies for creating a more connected and efficient payments ecosystem capable of supporting trade and commerce under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

As Africa’s digital economy continues to expand, Digital PayExpo 2026 aims to serve as a catalyst for collaboration, investment, and policy alignment across the financial services sector. By bringing together influential stakeholders from across the continent and beyond, the event seeks to advance the vision of a unified, technology enabled financial ecosystem that supports sustainable growth, innovation, and greater economic opportunity for African businesses and consumers.
