Eid-el-Fitr Tinubu Urges Muslims to Sustain Unity and Compassion Beyond Ramadan

Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Muslims to uphold the values of unity, compassion, and charity beyond the holy month of Ramadan, as the nation marks Eid al-Fitr, according to ChannelsTv.

In his message, the president urged the faithful to remain committed to the virtues of love, generosity, and care for the vulnerable cultivated during Ramadan, stressing that these values should not fade after the celebrations. He emphasized the importance of supporting the less privileged, including orphans and those in need, as part of sustained national responsibility.

Tinubu also encouraged Nigerians to avoid returning to divisive or harmful practices, noting that the lessons of Ramadan should guide everyday conduct and strengthen social harmony across communities.

The message underscores a broader call for peace, unity, and collective progress, as leaders continue to highlight the role of shared values in fostering national cohesion and stability beyond religious observances.
