Celine Dion delivered one of the standout moments of Paris Fashion Week 2026 with a surprise performance at L’Oréal Paris’ annual runway show beneath the Eiffel Tower. The Canadian music icon appeared unexpectedly at the finale of the September 28 show, stepping onto the catwalk in a sleek black gown before performing her 2002 hit “I’m Alive”. The performance transformed the fashion showcase into an impromptu concert, with fellow L’Oréal ambassadors including Viola Davis, Simone Ashley, Aja Naomi King and Eva Longoria joining Dion on the runway.

The appearance added another major Paris moment to Dion’s highly anticipated return to live performance. The singer is currently in the French capital for a 26 show concert engagement, with 16 performances scheduled across September and October and another 10 planned for May 2027. Dion previously served as a L’Oréal Paris brand ambassador in 2019, making her return to the beauty brand’s Paris Fashion Week platform a continuation of an established relationship. The show, themed “Express Your Worth”, also featured global names including Kendall Jenner, Heidi Klum, Jane Fonda, Cara Delevingne and Aishwarya Rai.
With the Eiffel Tower illuminated behind the runway, Dion’s performance brought together fashion, beauty and music in one of Paris Fashion Week’s most memorable celebrity moments. Her choice of “I’m Alive” also gave the appearance a strong cultural resonance as she continues her return to the international stage. For L’Oréal Paris, the event further demonstrated the brand’s strategy of placing entertainment and cultural influence alongside fashion and beauty, with Reuters noting that the brand serves around 600 million consumers globally and was L’Oréal Group’s main growth driver in the first half of 2026.
