CapitalSage Taps Former ETG Executive Tarun Chawla to Lead Agri-Commodities and FMCG Push

CapitalSage Holdings has appointed Tarun Chawla as Executive Director to lead its Agri-Commodities and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) subsidiaries. Chawla, a former executive at ETG, brings over 17 years of experience across the agricultural and consumer goods sectors, with previous roles at Olam International, Coca-Cola, and Unilever.

In his new role, Chawla will oversee the strategic direction and operations of CapitalSage’s key subsidiaries, including Johnvents Group, which manages large-scale cocoa processing and agricultural value chain operations across multiple continents. His appointment is expected to strengthen the company’s drive for market expansion and operational efficiency.

The move is part of CapitalSage Holdings’ broader 2025 corporate strategy, which focuses on consolidating its position in Africa’s agribusiness and FMCG sectors while exploring global growth opportunities.
