Artificial Intelligence Days 2026 Set for Libreville, Gabon

The Artificial Intelligence Days (AID) 2026 will take place from 8 to 10 April 2026 in Libreville, Gabon, bringing together public, private, academic, and entrepreneurial stakeholders to explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence across economic and social sectors. The event will serve as a strategic platform for dialogue, innovation, and collaboration in advancing AI applications that support national development priorities.

Under the theme “Artificial Intelligence, Digital Sovereignty and Economic Diversification: Accelerating the Implementation of the PNCD and Gabon’s Digital Strategy,” AID 2026 will focus on how AI can drive economic diversification, enhance digital sovereignty, and contribute to sustainable growth. Participants will engage in high level discussions on policy, innovation, and practical solutions that leverage AI to address societal and economic challenges.

The conference is organized in partnership with the International Council for Artificial Intelligence (CONIIA), Human AI, and the EU–Africa Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) through its Subregional Office for Central Africa. This collaboration underscores the global and regional significance of AI as a tool for development and inclusive progress.

AID 2026 is poised to foster connections, knowledge exchange, and actionable insights that can accelerate Gabon’s digital strategy and the broader adoption of AI across Africa. By uniting diverse stakeholders, the event aims to shape a roadmap for the responsible and impactful deployment of artificial intelligence on the continent.
