Asake Sells Out London’s O2 Arena for Third Time on In God We Trust World Tour

Nigerian Afrobeats star Asake has recorded another major international milestone after delivering a sold-out performance at London’s O2 Arena on October 15, 2026, marking his third time filling the 20,000-capacity venue. The concert formed part of his In God We Trust World Tour, which supports his latest album, M$NEY. According to the event listing published by The O2, the show featured Nigerian singer BNXN and South African amapiano duo TxC as special guests. The performance further reinforces Asake’s position among the Nigerian artists building sustained demand for Afrobeats at major international venues, following his previous sold-out appearances at the arena in 2023 and 2024.

The show brought together several performers from Nigeria’s contemporary music scene, with BNXN joining Asake on stage and rapper Blaqbonez making a surprise appearance for performances of their collaborations, including Ikebe 3000 and Chanel. According to entertainment publication Intel Region, the setlist included popular tracks such as Lonely at the Top, Joha, Why Love, Amapiano and Gratitude, with videos from the concert circulating widely on social media. Fans also shared emotional reactions to the performance, while clips of Asake performing his viral dance moves attracted further attention online. The combination of familiar hits, guest appearances and audience participation helped make the concert a prominent moment in the singer’s ongoing international tour.

Asake’s latest O2 Arena achievement reflects the continued expansion of Afrobeats across international live music markets, where Nigerian artists are increasingly drawing large audiences beyond Africa. His In God We Trust tour has included dates across North America and Europe, although one scheduled performance at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles was cancelled in September without a detailed public explanation, according to The Guardian Nigeria. The tour is set to continue with a performance at Paris’s Accor Arena on October 24, 2026. Asake’s third sold-out O2 Arena show adds to a growing record of Nigerian performers commanding major venues abroad and demonstrates the commercial potential of African music in the global concert business.
