A new generation of Nigerian creators is not simply experimenting with AI but teaching others how to use it, building businesses around emerging technologies and exploring new possibilities for African storytelling.
1. Mercy Thaddeus — Co-Founder, Attention Factory | AI Educator

Mercy Thaddeus is an AI educator and co-founder of Attention Factory, an AI education company focused on helping Africans apply artificial intelligence to real-world problems, business and creative work. Her platforms combine education, training and practical AI applications, with her work reportedly reaching more than 250,000 people.
2. Ayuba Kefas — Founder, Hirable Concepts

Ayuba Kefas is the founder of Hirable Concepts, a creative platform focused on combining human creativity with emerging technologies. His work includes AI content creation, education and digital production, while his growing educational programmes are helping creators understand and apply generative AI tools in their work.
3. Arinze Okolo, known as BiggZona — AI Creator and Educator

Arinze Okolo, popularly known as BiggZona, has built a growing identity around AI tools, AI-generated visuals and generative AI education. Through his platforms, he creates AI-powered content for brands while teaching audiences how to incorporate AI into content creation and digital marketing. His work extends from short-form social content to cinematic AI video production.
4. Sirat Oladipupo — Digital Creator and AI Educator

Sirat Oladipupo represents one of the younger voices emerging from Nigeria’s AI creator community. Her content explores AI tools, digital growth, finance and the evolving creator economy, while she also teaches AI content creation through creator classes and bootcamps. At 17, her early involvement in the space makes her a notable example of how younger Nigerians are embracing AI as a creative and entrepreneurial tool.
5. Dr. Abiodun Odu — Filmmaker, Creative Director and AI Filmmaking Enthusiast

Dr. Abiodun Odu brings artificial intelligence into filmmaking and visual storytelling. A filmmaker, writer and director, he has been experimenting with AI filmmaking as a way to expand the possibilities available to African storytellers, particularly for culturally rooted stories that may otherwise face production limitations. His work demonstrates how generative AI can become an extension of traditional filmmaking rather than simply a replacement for conventional creative processes.
Methodology
The selection focuses on emerging Nigerian creators who are actively using AI across education, content creation, entrepreneurship and filmmaking. Consideration was given to demonstrated AI expertise, originality, audience engagement, educational contribution and the practical use of AI in creative or business applications. The list is designed to spotlight a new generation of Nigerian digital creators shaping how artificial intelligence is understood and used by African audiences.
