Comfort Erhabor Joins Crystal Palace as Super Falcons Goalkeeper Takes Major WSL Step

Super Falcons goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor has completed a move to Crystal Palace Women, signing a two year contract with the English Women’s Super League side as she takes another major step in her developing career, as reported by ChannelsTv. The 21 year old Nigeria international joins Palace after spending the 2025/26 season with Portsmouth, where she made six appearances across all competitions.

Born in the Netherlands and raised in England, Erhabor began her development at the Brighton and Hove Albion Academy before gaining senior experience through loan spells at Hibernian and Plymouth Argyle. She joined Portsmouth in July 2025 and her performances helped accelerate her progression into the Nigerian senior national team. Erhabor made her Super Falcons debut against Cameroon in February 2026 before being included in Nigeria’s squad for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The move gives Erhabor an opportunity to compete at England’s top level after her previous campaign in the second tier. Crystal Palace manager Jo Potter described the young goalkeeper as a promising talent, while Erhabor welcomed the transfer as an important stage in her ambition to play at the highest level. “I’m aspiring to play at the highest level, so this is a really big step in my career,” she said.

Erhabor’s arrival also adds another Nigerian international to the English women’s top flight and strengthens the growing presence of Super Falcons players in England. At Palace, she will now have the platform to develop further while competing for regular first team football and positioning herself for a more prominent role with Nigeria ahead of future international assignments.
