After completing a degree in International Studies and Diplomacy at Benson Idahosa University, she turned her focus to Nigeria’s pressing housing deficit. Today, the company manages five residential estates across the country, with a flagship affordable housing initiative underway in Calabar. The project is part of a broader mission to expand access to quality housing for underserved populations.

That early exposure to civic leadership laid the foundation for her holistic approach to business and mentorship. Today, she remains actively engaged in youth development initiatives and national leadership forums, championing ethical entrepreneurship and inclusive development.

Beyond real estate, Melford also leads House of Haziba, a lifestyle and fashion brand specializing in Ankara-themed clothing, accessories, and beauty services. This venture celebrates African creativity and empowers women through economic and cultural expression.
