Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Says Every Company Must Prepare for an AI Driven Future

Artificial intelligence will eventually become integral to every company and industry, according to Jensen Huang, chief executive of US chipmaker Nvidia, who has urged Europe to accelerate investment in artificial intelligence infrastructure and development. Speaking at an event in Stockholm on 15 October 2026, Huang said, “Every single company will be an AI company eventually. Every single industry will be impacted by AI.” According to Agence France Presse, as reported by Channels Television on 16 October, his remarks came during a European tour ahead of an Nvidia hosted conference in Berlin, reinforcing the growing expectation that AI will become a core business capability rather than a specialised technology used primarily by technology companies.

Huang argued that Europe must develop the entire AI value chain, from data centres and computing infrastructure to cloud platforms and consumer applications, if it wants to compete in the global market. He disclosed that Nvidia had invested $8 billion in Europe over the preceding year, with additional investments worth several billion dollars in the pipeline. He cited British AI cloud and data centre provider Nscale and Dutch cloud provider Nebius as examples of companies helping to strengthen the region’s AI ecosystem. His visit also coincided with the launch of Sferical One, a Swedish supercomputer powered by Nvidia technology and designed to keep sensitive data and computing capabilities within Sweden. Volvo Cars also announced an expanded partnership with Nvidia to improve safety technology in its planned autonomous vehicles, illustrating how AI is increasingly influencing industries beyond software and computing.

For businesses, Huang’s message points to a competitive landscape in which AI adoption could increasingly shape productivity, customer service, product development and operating costs. Companies that integrate AI effectively may find opportunities to automate routine work, analyse data more efficiently and develop new services, while those that delay adoption risk falling behind competitors. However, implementation also requires investment in infrastructure, skilled workers, cybersecurity and responsible data management. For African economies, the global expansion of AI presents opportunities in financial services, agriculture, healthcare, logistics and telecommunications, but access to reliable electricity, computing capacity, funding and specialised talent will influence how quickly local businesses can benefit. Huang’s forecast reflects Nvidia’s position at the centre of the AI industry, but the broader business challenge is how organisations can turn the technology into measurable value while managing its risks.
