Ecobank Adire Lagos 2026 to Celebrate African Textile Heritage and Creative Enterprise

The fifth edition of Ecobank Adire Lagos 2026 will take place from 11 to 14 June 2026 at the Ecobank Pan African Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, bringing together artisans, designers, entrepreneurs, and cultural enthusiasts for one of Nigeria’s leading creative industry showcases. Organised by Ecobank Nigeria, the event continues to position Adire as both a cultural symbol and a thriving creative enterprise within Africa’s growing fashion and textile economy.

This year’s edition is themed “Threads Across Borders,” reflecting the global relevance and expanding influence of Adire as a uniquely Nigerian art form. According to statements from Ecobank Nigeria reported by multiple publications, the showcase is designed to celebrate the richness of indigenous craftsmanship while connecting it to Africa’s broader textile and cultural narrative.

The four day experience is expected to feature more than 100 vendors, predominantly from Nigeria, alongside selected participants from other African countries to encourage cross border collaboration and creative exchange. Beyond exhibitions, attendees can expect a vibrant blend of fashion, indigenous cuisine, music, cultural performances, and curated networking sessions aimed at strengthening the continent’s creative value chain.

Rooted in Nigeria’s cultural heritage, Ecobank Adire Lagos has evolved into a major platform for culture led commerce, showcasing how traditional artistry can drive entrepreneurship, tourism, and economic opportunity. Through the 2026 edition, Ecobank reinforces its commitment to supporting Africa’s creative economy while elevating Adire as a globally recognised expression of African identity and innovation.
