After studying Mass Communication at Bowen University and completing the National Youth Service Corps in Imo State, Damilola deepened his involvement in Mount Zion’s film division. His early production, Shadows of Death, gained attention within the Christian Corpers Fellowship. Damilola’s work stands out for combining strong spiritual themes with professional filmcraft. He often emphasizes that his mission is not just to entertain but to minister through visual storytelling. In a recent interview with ThisDay Live, he said his goal is “to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to new territories through the tool of filmmaking.” His productions have reached global audiences through YouTube and digital streaming, attracting millions of views and inspiring a new generation of Christian filmmakers.

Beyond directing, Damilola plays an active role in training and mentoring emerging talent through the Mount Zion Film Academy and the Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama.
