Rev. Christie Bature Ogbeifun is a Nigerian counsellor, transformational coach, addictions therapist, author, preacher, and rehabilitation specialist whose life’s work has been dedicated to helping individuals and families overcome life’s most difficult challenges. As the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of 180 Degrees Rehabilitation Centre in Port Harcourt and the Founder of Christie Bature Mentoring, she has spent more than three decades providing professional counselling, addiction recovery, trauma support, marriage restoration, and leadership mentoring. Through her faith-driven yet evidence-based approach, she has become one of Nigeria’s respected voices in personal transformation and emotional wellness.

With over 30 years of mentoring and counselling experience, Christie Bature established The Christie Bature Mentoring after recognising the shortage of accessible, high-quality support services for individuals navigating emotional, relational, and behavioural challenges. The platform was created to bridge that gap by offering professional mentoring, coaching, and counselling that empower people to become healthier mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Her mission is centred on treating every individual with dignity while promoting accountability, healing, and lasting transformation.
As the CEO of 180 Degrees Rehabilitation Centre, Christie Bature leads one of Port Harcourt’s specialist centres focused on addiction recovery and behavioural rehabilitation. The centre provides comprehensive support for individuals battling substance dependency, sexual addictions, trauma, and other life-controlling challenges through counselling, therapy, mentoring, and recovery programmes. Under her leadership, the organisation has helped countless individuals and families rebuild their lives while advocating for greater awareness of mental health, addiction recovery, and holistic wellbeing.

Her professional credentials reflect a strong commitment to continuous learning and international best practice. Christie Bature received specialist training through programmes supported by the European Union (EU) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). She is a Certified Mentor and Life Coach, a Licensed Polygrapher, holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Crisis and Trauma Management, and is a member of both the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). Her multidisciplinary expertise enables her to address complex issues affecting individuals, marriages, families, and organisations.
