According to Premium Times and Tribune Online, the star-studded premiere was held at the Monarch Event Centre in Lekki, Lagos, ahead of the film’s nationwide cinema release on July 10, drawing leading figures from Nigeria’s entertainment, business, and political circles.
The red-carpet event attracted a host of Nollywood stars, including Richard Mofe-Damijo, Toyin Abraham, Iyabo Ojo, Femi Adebayo, Lateef Adedimeji, Timini Egbuson, Gabriel Afolayan, Jide Kosoko, and Shaffy Bello, alongside musicians, entrepreneurs, and public figures. Produced by Taiwo Adebayo and directed by Adeoluwa Owu, the sequel follows Omotara Johnson as she is forced to confront her criminal past after her son becomes the prime suspect in a murder case.
