A New Cultural Landmark — Museum of West African Art (MOWAA)

The Museum of West African Art (MOWAA) is a contemporary cultural institution located in Benin City, Nigeria, designed as a major hub for the preservation, research, and celebration of West African art and heritage. Founded in 2020, the museum was conceived as a multidisciplinary campus combining exhibition spaces, conservation laboratories, and educational facilities to support both historical and contemporary artistic practice.
