African Women Innovators Shine at Tech Women Fest 2025 with Pressdia and Talented Women Network Amplifying Their Stories

Lagos — This past Saturday, Tech Women Fest 2025 brought together a vibrant gathering of women innovators, founders, and tech professionals at Solution Arena, Onipanu, Lagos, celebrating creativity, inclusion, and African-led technological solutions. With the theme “Tech for Impact: Innovating Solutions for Africa’s Challenges,” the event highlighted the ingenuity and resilience of women shaping the continent’s tech future.

Through their role as media partners, Pressdia and the Talented Women Network (TWN) ensured that the energy, ideas, and achievements of the event reached audiences far beyond the venue. From capturing keynote highlights to sharing conversations with emerging tech leaders, both organizations played a pivotal part in amplifying stories of impact and inspiration.

Olanrewaju Alaka, CEO of Laerryblue Media, parent company of Pressdia, said:
“Seeing the room come alive with talent and ambition reminds us why we do what we do. Our goal is to make sure these stories don’t just inspire those present but resonate across Africa and beyond.”

Oluwatoyin Abioye, Founder of NezaTech Africa, added:
“Tech Women Fest is about connection and empowerment. Partnering with Pressdia and TWN allowed us to share the brilliance of these women innovators with a wider audience, and the impact was immediate.”

Moyosolaoluwa Awokoya, PR and Marketing Manager and attendee, shared:
“The session on ‘Women Founders & Leaders: Pioneering Innovation & Navigating the Startup Ecosystem for Greater Access’ was a highlight for me. It offered real, practical insights on building and scaling businesses while fostering networks that truly support women in tech.”

Another attendee, Chinara Okeke, a Lagos-based software engineer, added:
“It was inspiring to hear firsthand from women turning ideas into solutions that impact communities. The conversations and networking moments made me feel part of something bigger, a movement driving change across Africa.”

Workshops on inclusive tech leadership further sparked dialogue and collaboration across industries.

As the day concluded, it was clear that Tech Women Fest 2025 succeeded not only in showcasing innovation but in strengthening a network of African women committed to shaping the continent’s future.
