She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Benin, an MBA from ESUT Business School, and a Master of Science degree in Marketing Communications from Pan Atlantic University. She has also completed executive programs at leading global institutions including Oxford Saïd Business School, Harvard Business School, Wharton, Columbia Business School, and London Business School, reflecting her commitment to continuous leadership development.

Her professional journey spans some of Nigeria’s most prominent financial institutions. She began her career at Equatorial Trust Bank and later worked with Ecobank Nigeria before spending over 17 years at Zenith Bank across energy and commercial banking divisions. She subsequently served as General Manager and Regional Head at Fidelity Bank, before being appointed Executive Director for Lagos and Corporate Banking at Polaris Bank. Her progression through these roles highlights a consistent track record of leadership, business growth, and sector expertise.

At NOVA Bank, Chinwe Iloghalu has played a critical role in strengthening institutional and commercial banking operations. She previously served as Executive Director of Institutional and Commercial Banking before rising to Acting Managing Director and CEO, where she now oversees the bank’s strategic direction. Her expertise spans operations, credit, corporate banking, retail banking, and large scale transaction structuring across sectors such as oil and gas, infrastructure, telecommunications, and fintech.

Her contributions have earned recognition through multiple professional accolades and industry acknowledgements across the institutions she has served. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration and an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, reflecting her professional standing and influence within the financial services sector.
