Toluwanimi Adenuga Honored by Empire Magazine Africa for Excellence in Industrial Engineering

Toluwanimi Adenuga, a respected Capacity Planning Manager and Senior Industrial Engineer at Amazon, has been named the 2024 Honoree for Excellence in Industrial Engineering by Empire Magazine Africa. The award was formally presented on April 7th, 2024, by Dr. Segun Adegoke, Head of Honours at Empire Magazine Africa, in recognition of her outstanding innovation, leadership, and impact in the field of industrial engineering.

This prestigious recognition highlights Adenuga’s years of achievement in supply chain optimization, capacity planning, and program leadership. At Amazon, she leads strategies that support a vast network of sort centers, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and enhanced customer experiences. In her acceptance remarks, Adenuga expressed gratitude and humility. “This award is not only about my personal journey. Adenuga holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. With advanced training in quality management and expertise in analytical tools, she has been able to lead transformative projects that set higher benchmarks in efficiency and operational excellence.
