Temitope Chigbue, popularly known as Temi Nkem, has emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11, titled “Show Ya Sef”, after 70 days of competition, Premium Times and Punch reported. The 21 year old student and lifestyle content creator was crowned during the grand finale on October 4, defeating Aikou and Sheba, who finished as first and second runners up respectively. Temi secured 25.87 percent of the final votes, ahead of Aikou with 23.68 percent and Sheba with 9.80 percent.
Temi entered the competition on July 26 alongside 23 other housemates and became one of the season’s most recognisable personalities, known for her outspoken nature, confidence and distinctive British accent. Born and raised in London, she is of Nigerian heritage, with family roots in Delta State and Lagos. Throughout the season, she navigated nominations, tasks, evictions and several twists, including a fake eviction, before securing her place among the finalists. Her victory makes her the fifth female winner in Big Brother Naija history.
Temi’s victory comes with the Season 11 grand prize package valued at ₦160 million, comprising ₦90 million in cash, a brand new SUV and additional prizes from sponsors. Her emergence adds another name to the growing list of Big Brother Naija alumni who have leveraged the reality show as a platform for careers in entertainment, media, fashion, business and digital content. The “Show Ya Sef” season, which began with 24 contestants, concluded after weeks of nominations, strategic gameplay, relationships, rivalries and audience voting, further reinforcing the franchise’s influence on Nigeria’s contemporary entertainment culture.
