Her entrepreneurial journey began in her teens with a babysitting club and later evolved to include a hair-styling business for children and tutoring services. In 2015, she founded ORÍKÌ, which has grown into a comprehensive wellness ecosystem. The brand now encompasses premium spa locations, a manufacturing arm, retail channels, and a mobile wellness app called UNWIND that delivers spa services on demand.

Joycee’s consultancy work through SOAR reflects her commitment to helping business owners systematize operations, implement efficient processes, and scale sustainably. Her ability to combine strategy with empathy has made her a sought-after speaker on business growth, wellness, and leadership.

Her contributions have received wide recognition. She is an alumna of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers and has served as Curator of the Abuja Hub. She is also a Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme Fellow and has been nominated multiple times for The Future Awards Prize in Public Service. Her work has earned acknowledgment from Billionaires Africa among the top Nigerian women in cosmetics.

In 2025, ORÍKÌ celebrated ten years of operations under her leadership, with more than 15 wellness spas and hair-care centers across Africa. She also founded the ORÍKÌ Training Institute to train professionals and aspiring wellness entrepreneurs, ensuring a pipeline of skilled practitioners and leaders in the industry.

A mother of two, Joycee balances her roles as business leader, mentor, and parent while continuing to expand her impact. Her mission remains clear: to make wellness a way of life in Africa by creating authentic, accessible, and scalable spaces of rest, rejuvenation, and self-care.
