Ethiopian Airlines has placed an order for nine Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft as Africa’s largest carrier steps up its long-haul growth strategy, strengthening its position on intercontinental routes. The new aircraft are Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, which will add to Ethiopian Airlines’ already extensive wide-body fleet, the largest Dreamliner fleet on the continent.
