Lagos will host Think UX 2026 on Saturday, 7 November, at Tripple C Event Centre, Sabo Yaba, bringing together designers, product professionals, technology experts, founders and creative practitioners to examine the changing relationship between artificial intelligence and user experience design. Organised by UX Thrive, the conference will be held under the theme “UX in the Era of AI”, providing a platform for industry conversations on how emerging technologies are transforming digital product development, creative processes and the future of design careers.
The programme will feature keynote presentations, industry panel discussions, practical masterclasses and interactive sessions exploring the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence. Discussions will consider how designers can adapt to evolving tools, build more effective digital experiences and maintain the human insight, creativity and problem-solving capabilities that remain central to good design. The conference will also provide opportunities for professional development, knowledge exchange and networking across Nigeria’s growing design and technology ecosystem.
The 2026 edition will feature a diverse lineup of speakers, panellists and facilitators, including Dara Sobaloju, Samuel Irinyemi, Kachi Kalu, Tina Goodness A., Rukayyah Yaro, Samuel Lasisi, among others. Their contributions will bring perspectives from different areas of design, technology, product development and creative practice, encouraging conversations around the skills and thinking required to remain relevant in an increasingly AI-driven industry.
As artificial intelligence becomes more deeply integrated into the development of digital products and services, the role of user experience professionals is evolving beyond interface design towards creating intuitive, accessible and meaningful interactions between people and technology. Think UX 2026 aims to address this transition by connecting professionals with practical knowledge, industry experience and new perspectives on the future of their field. The conference begins at 8:00 a.m., with registration available through the official Think UX website and ticket portal.
