Meet Ibrahim Suleiman The Creative Powerhouse Shaping Africa Through Film, Art and Design

Ibrahim Suleiman is a Nigerian actor, contemporary visual artist, architect, television host, creative entrepreneur, and public speaker whose work spans film, television, design, and fine art. Celebrated as one of Nollywood’s most versatile talents, he has built a career defined by creativity without boundaries, seamlessly blending storytelling, architecture, visual expression, and performance. Through his acting, artwork, and entrepreneurial ventures, Ibrahim continues to inspire a new generation of African creatives to embrace multidisciplinary excellence.

A graduate of Architecture from the University of Jos, Ibrahim began his professional career as an architect before expanding into media and entertainment. His natural charisma and storytelling ability led him to television, where he became a presenter and content developer before establishing himself as one of Nollywood’s most respected actors. Over the years, he has demonstrated remarkable range across drama, romance, action, and comedy, earning praise for performances that combine authenticity with emotional depth. He is also widely recognised as one of Nigeria’s most sought-after event hosts, voice-over artists, and public speakers, sharing insights on creativity, leadership, purpose, and personal development.

His impressive filmography includes acclaimed productions such as Far From Home, Blood Sisters, Namaste Wahala, Up North, Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, The Men’s Club, Tinsel, Red Circle, Evi, and Visa on Arrival, among several others. These performances have established him as one of the leading actors of his generation, earning widespread recognition for his versatility across cinema, television, and streaming platforms.

Beyond acting, Ibrahim has emerged as a compelling voice in contemporary African art. His debut solo exhibition, Son of Aisha, marked a significant milestone in his artistic journey, receiving widespread acclaim for its exploration of identity, memory, family, masculinity, and cultural heritage through bold visual storytelling. His work has since attracted collectors and art enthusiasts who appreciate his ability to translate deeply personal narratives into powerful contemporary art. In 2026, his work was featured at the Sharing Africa Exhibition in the United Kingdom, further expanding his presence on the international art scene.

His passion for making art accessible also inspired the creation of SEEKYOURART, a creative lifestyle brand that extends his artistic vision beyond gallery walls. Through SEEKYOURART, Ibrahim produces original paintings, wearable art, apparel, wallpapers, and other creative products designed to integrate African-inspired contemporary art into everyday living. The brand reflects his belief that art should not only be admired but experienced as part of daily life.

Away from his professional accomplishments, Ibrahim is admired for his enduring partnership with award-winning actress Linda Ejiofor-Suleiman, whom he married in 2018. Together, they have become one of Nigeria’s most celebrated creative couples, frequently championing family values, excellence, and collaboration within the entertainment industry.

Today, Ibrahim Suleiman stands as one of Africa’s most accomplished multidisciplinary creatives. Whether on screen, on canvas, on stage, or through entrepreneurship, he continues to redefine what it means to be a modern African artist. His journey demonstrates that creativity knows no limits when talent is matched with purpose, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
