The Macallan and The Delborough Host Exclusive Michelin-Star Dining Experience in Lagos

The Macallan partnered with luxury hospitality destination The Delborough Lagos to host an exclusive Michelin-star dining experience, bringing together some of Nigeria’s leading business executives, entrepreneurs, and cultural tastemakers for an evening celebrating world-class gastronomy, exceptional whisky, and refined hospitality. Held at DANI Restaurant within The Delborough, the intimate event showcased the growing sophistication of Lagos’ luxury dining scene while reinforcing the city’s emergence as a destination for globally inspired culinary experiences. As highlighted by BellaNaija, the event took place on June 27, 2026, and featured Italian Michelin-starred chef Sauro Bison.

Guests were treated to a specially curated multi-course tasting menu created by Chef Bison, with each course expertly paired with premium expressions from The Macallan, including the 15-Year-Old Double Cask, 18-Year-Old Double Cask, and the prestigious 25-Year-Old Sherry Oak. In a unique culinary twist, The Macallan 12-Year-Old was also incorporated into selected dishes, creating an immersive food-and-whisky pairing experience that reflected the shared commitment of both brands to craftsmanship, heritage, and excellence.

Speaking during the event, Daniel Atteh, The Macallan Brand Ambassador and Educator, said the collaboration represented a shared vision of creating memorable luxury experiences through exceptional whisky and fine dining. Jimmy Antonios, General Manager of The Delborough Lagos, added that the partnership aligns with the hotel’s ambition to position Lagos among the world’s premier luxury hospitality destinations, noting that the property continues to invest in globally recognised culinary talent as part of its long-term strategy.

The collaboration underscores the growing demand for experiential luxury in Nigeria, where affluent consumers are increasingly seeking curated experiences that blend fine dining, premium beverages, and world-class hospitality. Industry observers say partnerships such as The Macallan and The Delborough’s Michelin-star dining experience are helping elevate Lagos’ profile as a leading destination for luxury lifestyle, culinary tourism, and international hospitality investment.
