Jocelyne N’Guessan Driving Strategic Banking Leadership and Financial Transformation in Africa

Jocelyne N’Guessan is a Franco Ivorian banking executive and the Director General Adjoint in charge of Corporate at Banque Atlantique Côte d’Ivoire, a subsidiary of the Banque Centrale Populaire Group. She has built a distinguished career in African banking leadership, with over two decades of experience spanning corporate banking, financial strategy, and executive management across West Africa.

Jocelyne N’Guessan’s journey is anchored in strong academic and professional foundations. She holds advanced qualifications in finance and management, including a Master’s degree in Finance and Management from IAE Paris Panthéon Sorbonne, an MBA in High International Finance from IFG Executive Education, and additional certification in banking and financial engineering from leading French institutions. Her academic path reflects a deep specialization in structured finance and corporate banking leadership.

Her career began at Société Générale in 2009, where she progressed through key roles including Relationship Manager for Corporate Banking in Côte d’Ivoire, Head of Mining, Energy and Infrastructure Markets, and later Director of Corporate Clientele. In 2021, she was appointed Managing Director of Société Générale Togo, where she led operations focused on corporate finance, SME support, and national economic development priorities before transitioning to Banque Atlantique Côte d’Ivoire in 2024 in a senior executive capacity.

At Banque Atlantique Côte d’Ivoire, Jocelyne N’Guessan plays a central role in strengthening corporate banking strategy, expanding institutional client relationships, and driving financial solutions for large scale enterprises. Her leadership is particularly focused on supporting infrastructure financing, energy sector development, and corporate credit expansion across key economic sectors in the region. Her work reflects a consistent commitment to strengthening Africa’s financial ecosystem through structured banking solutions.

Jocelyne N’Guessan’s excellence has earned multiple industry recognitions. She received the Société Générale Africa Cup Innovation Trophy in 2015, was named Manager of the Year in 2016, and won the Best Corporate Operation Award in both 2016 and 2017. In 2023, she was listed among the 100 Most Influential African Women in the “Sans Elles” ranking, highlighting her impact and leadership within the continental financial sector.
