Over the years she has built a career that spans enterprise software development, systems architecture, and AI innovation, consistently focusing on using technology to solve real world problems.
Her professional career includes leadership roles in global technology organizations, including serving as Group Head of Engineering at SCB Group, a firm operating in the low carbon markets sector in the United Kingdom. Through this role and her work at CarbonAI, Debola has led engineering teams building AI driven systems such as large language models, intelligent data platforms, and advanced analytics tools designed to support sustainability and climate related decision making. Earlier in her career, she was also part of the team that developed Nigeria’s early online WAEC and JAMB result checker systems, a digital innovation that transformed how students accessed examination results nationwide.
