Nairobi to Host AIB Africa 2026 Chapter Conference on Africa’s Place in Global Business

The AIB Africa 2026 Chapter Conference will take place from 27 to 29 May 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya, convening scholars, business leaders, and policy thinkers to examine Africa’s evolving role in the global economy. Organized under the banner of the Academy of International Business Africa Chapter, the conference positions Africa at the center of contemporary global business conversations.

Guided by the theme “Navigating Uncertainty, Complexity, and Redefining Limits: Africa’s Role in Shaping Global Business,” the conference will explore how African markets, enterprises, and institutions are responding to rapid global shifts. Discussions are expected to focus on resilience, innovation, and strategic adaptation in an increasingly interconnected and unpredictable business environment.

The conference will provide a platform for rigorous dialogue and knowledge exchange across international business, economics, strategy, and development. By bringing together academic research and practical perspectives, the event aims to generate insights that inform both policy formulation and business decision making within and beyond the continent.

Hosting the conference in Nairobi, one of Africa’s leading commercial and innovation hubs, underscores the city’s growing influence in regional and global business networks. The AIB Africa 2026 Chapter Conference is set to contribute meaningfully to thought leadership on Africa’s capacity not only to adapt to global change, but to actively shape the future of international business.
