NFVCB Honours 23 Nollywood Icons at 5th Peace Anyiam-Osigwe Conference

The National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) celebrated the achievements of 23 Nollywood personalities at the fifth annual Peace Anyiam-Osigwe Conference, held to recognize industry pioneers and emerging talents. According to The Guardian Nigeria, the event highlighted contributions to Nigerian cinema and the broader African film ecosystem, fostering dialogue on industry growth, regulatory frameworks, and creative excellence.

NFVCB Director-General emphasized that the conference serves as a platform to promote professionalism, cultural representation, and ethical standards within Nollywood. Vanguard Nigeria reports that the gathering also included workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions aimed at nurturing collaboration between filmmakers, regulators, and investors.
