Africa PPP 2025: A Turning Point for Continent-Wide Infrastructure Partnerships

From 28 to 31 October 2025, Windhoek, Namibia, will host the fifteenth edition of the Africa PPP Infrastructure Finance, Investment and Partnership Summit. Organized by AME Trade Ltd in partnership with the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board, the gathering has become the continent’s most respected platform for public-private partnership dialogue and investment.

Over the years, Africa PPP has matured from a meeting of ideas into a showcase of real projects. Previous editions have helped project developers secure funding, allowed governments to demonstrate policy reforms, and enabled financiers to identify credible opportunities across transport, energy, water, and urban infrastructure. Many participants have left with partnerships that translated into tangible progress on the ground.

The Windhoek edition aims to accelerate this momentum by focusing on mobilizing domestic capital, spotlighting investment-ready projects, and strengthening the frameworks that make partnerships more transparent and attractive. Masterclasses on project preparation and technical tours of local infrastructure will provide participants with both knowledge and practical exposure.

Namibia offers an ideal setting for such a summit. Known for its stability, strong governance, and strategic infrastructure such as the Walvis Bay port, the country is positioning itself as a hub for trade, logistics, and industrial development in Southern Africa. Hosting the summit reinforces its ambition to become a gateway for continental growth.
