Accra, Ghana, is set to host a high level Women Leadership Breakfast on 27 October 2026, convened by Elevate Africa in conjunction with Women Allying Women and the Presidency of the Republic of Ghana. The invitation-only gathering will bring together prominent African women leaders for a private engagement focused on leadership, influence, collaboration and the advancement of women across the continent.
The event will be hosted by Her Excellency Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, Vice President of Ghana, with Her Royal Majesty Olori Atuwatse III, Queen Consort of the Warri Kingdom and Co Founder of Elevate Africa, serving as Convening Host. The collaboration builds on the Women Allying Women platform, which has established a growing network focused on creating stronger relationships, mentorship opportunities and pathways for women to exercise greater influence across business, society and leadership.
Adding further distinction to the gathering will be Her Excellency Dr Joyce Banda, Malawi’s first female president, and Her Excellency Ameenah Gurib Fakim, former President of Mauritius, who are expected to join as Distinguished Guests of Honour. Their presence brings together significant leadership experience from across different parts of Africa, creating an opportunity for conversations around legacy, leadership and the role of women in shaping the continent’s future.
The Women Leadership Breakfast reflects the growing importance of spaces where accomplished women can connect beyond formal institutions and build meaningful alliances across borders and sectors.
