Adidas and Lionel Messi Launch New Leo Messi x Adidas Originals Collection Worldwide

Adidas and football icon Lionel Messi have officially launched the new Leo Messi x Adidas Originals collection, with the lifestyle range becoming available globally on August 1, 2026. The collection blends Adidas Originals’ heritage designs with Messi’s personal style, featuring apparel, footwear and accessories inspired by the Argentine star’s career and enduring influence on football and streetwear. According to Adidas, the collection is available through selected Adidas Originals stores and online channels worldwide.

The collection includes reimagined Originals classics with premium materials, Messi inspired branding and a clean colour palette that reflects the football legend’s understated aesthetic. The launch follows a series of high profile Adidas collaborations featuring Messi ahead of and following the 2026 FIFA World Cup, reinforcing the long standing partnership between the eight time Ballon d’Or winner and the German sportswear giant.

The release highlights the growing commercial power of athlete led lifestyle collections, where sportswear brands increasingly combine performance heritage with fashion appeal to reach global consumers. For Adidas, the Messi collection strengthens one of its most valuable endorsement partnerships while expanding its Originals business through limited edition products that appeal to both football fans and sneaker enthusiasts.

Looking ahead, the Leo Messi x Adidas Originals collection is expected to drive strong global demand as Adidas continues to build on Messi’s legacy beyond the football pitch. The launch reinforces the company’s strategy of leveraging iconic athletes to expand its lifestyle portfolio while deepening consumer engagement across sport, fashion and culture.
